Ingredients -
  • handful of mint leaves / pudina
  • handful of cilantro leaves
  • some ice cubes.
  • 1/2 inch ginger (grated)
  • 2 teaspoons of cumin seeds
  • ½ teaspoon of amchur powder / dried mango powder
  • black salt to taste / salt
  • 2½ glasses of water
  • ½ lemon
  • ½ teaspoon of pepper (crushed)
  • A handful of simple boondi
Tip: Boondi can be soaked in water for 10 to 15 minutes, then squeezed and added while serving.

Instructions -
  • Dry roast the cumin seeds until they begin to burn and turn black.
  • Allow to cool and grind into a fine powder. Set aside.
  • In a small blender take a handful of mint leaves and cilantro leaves.
  • Make a smooth puree/paste by adding the necessary water. Set aside.
  • Now in a large pitcher, add a few ice cubes.
  • Grate the ginger.
  • Now add cilantro - mint puree.
  • Add roasted cumin powder.
  • Next, add some amchur powder
  • Followed by black salt. You can also substitute it with salt.
  • Add 2 glasses of water and squeeze a little lemon juice.
  • Now add crushed black pepper powder.
  • Provide a good mix and check the seasoning.
  • Then transfer it to a serving glass or jug and drop in a few ice cubes just before serving and while serving, you can add some boondi, a pinch of chaat masala and a few mint leaves to each glass.

  • fistful coriander leaves
  • few ice cubes.
  • 1/2 inch ginger (grated)
  • 2 tsp cumin seeds
  • ½ tsp amchur powder / dry mango powder
  • black salt to taste / salt
  • 2½ glasses of water
  • ½ lemon
  • ½ tsp pepper (crushed)
  • Handful of plain boondi

Tip - Boondi can be soaked in water for 10 to 15 minutes, then squeezed and added while serving.

  • Now add crushed black pepper powder.
  • Give a good mix and check for seasoning.
  • Then transfer to a serving glass or jar and drop a few ice cubes just before you serve and while serving, you can add some boondi, a pinch of chaat masala and a few mint leaves in each glass.
