Mata Ki Chunri is made of soft net fabric with gold lace and gold embellishments. Offering Chunri to a Devi, Goddess, or any deity is an age-old tradition that signifies respect for the deities. Chunri is also placed before installing an idol of the deity.
The chūnri is placed on a pedestal, and then the idol of the deity is installed on top. Covering the top of the statue and the photo of the Goddess is also a widely practiced tradition.
This rich churni lends shine and glory to the idols and the altar. Chunri forms an integral and important part of the festivities. It is used to cover the head and shoulders of idols during performances, ceremonies, and prayers.
The chunri offering has been part of Indian culture since time immemorial and signifies respect towards the deities.
This chunri is made of fine, high-quality net fabric with gold lace on the outside. It also has starburst glitter work that gives it a premium look. The red and gold colors together give the whole ensemble an amazing aura. Chunris can be used for Navratri Puja, Mata ki Chowki, Diwali, Durga Puja, gifting for girls/kanya, Ganesh Chaturthi, and marriage ceremonies. It is also placed before installing a deity idol.
