• 1 tablespoon of tamarind paste

• 2 medium potatoes , boiled and mashed
• ½ cup of cooked chickpeas
• ½ teaspoon of chaat masala (buy chaat masala here)
• Salt to taste

How to Make Homemade Puris
1. Mix the semolina and wheat flour .
2. Add water little by little and knead until you get a firm dough.
3. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 20-30 minutes.
4. Form small balls and stretch them into thin discs.
5. Fry the discs in hot oil until they puff up and are golden.
6. Drain on absorbent paper.
How to Prepare Pani (Spiced Water)
1. Blend the mint , cilantro , green chilies and tamarind paste.
2. Mix the paste with cold water.
3. Add black salt , cumin powder and adjust salt to taste.
4. Adjust flavors if necessary.
5. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
