As the name suggests, Chicken Karahi (Kadai) is prepared in the Indian wok known as "karahi" in Hindi. MDH Karahi Chicken Masala has the perfect balance of spices to give this Northern Indian and Pakistani specialty its authentic flavor. Chicken Karahi is prepared with paprika and has a thick sauce that pairs well with naan, roti, or rice.
Recipe -
1. In a deep, heavy frying pan, heat 60g of cooking oil and fry 150g of chopped onions until translucent.
2. Add 500g of chicken pieces and 10-15g of Chicken Karahi Masala. Fry for 10 minutes until tender.
3. Add two cups of water and cover. Cook for 20 minutes until soft and tender.
4. Leave 1/2 cup of broth remaining. Then add 30g of sliced bell peppers and 60g of tomato. Stir and sauté for 5 minutes.
5. Sprinkle crushed Kasoori Methi and lemon juice.
