
Masala chai | Spiced tea

In India, masala means spices, and chai means tea. Spiced tea.
That's exactly what Masala Chai means: black tea infused with aromatic spices. It's usually served with milk.
Here in the United States, we usually call it "chai tea" or "chai milk tea." However, in India, saying "chai tea" is like saying "tea tea." That's why it's called Masala Chai or spiced tea. Good to know, right? 😉
What benefits does Masala Chai have for our health?

This tea is a natural and healthy stimulant that also has no side effects on health.
INGREDIENTS for two cups of Masala Tea:
-2 teaspoons of powdered tea
-1/2 teaspoon of MDH masala tea powder
-1 cup of milk
-1 and a half cups of water
-2 teaspoons of sugar
ELABORATION:
1. First, put 1.5 cups of water in a small saucepan and add the two teaspoons of powdered tea and half a teaspoon of MDH masala tea. Let it boil for 5 minutes.
2. Once it reaches a boil, reduce the heat to low. Simmer for a minute or two until it develops a pleasant aroma.
3. Now add the milk and sugar and let it boil again
4. Bring back to a boil and let it cook for two minutes.
5. Turn off the heat and strain the powdered tea and masala tea through a fine mesh strainer.
6. Finally, serve the Masala Tai with crackers or any type of breakfast 😉
