Agra Style Lamb

This recipe from my father is simple and delicious. When we were little, my father cooked this lamb every Sunday. Even when we come home, he always makes us this delicious dish, in which, according to Dad, the most important ingredient is love. For our father, a dish can never be perfect if it's not cooked with love! Here's his special recipe.

Ingredients for 4 people:

Preparation:

1.     Heat the oil in a frying pan.

2.     Fry the black cardamom, add five pcs of black pepper, two bay leaves and the pcs cloves.

3.     Next, add a finely chopped large onion. Fry for five minutes. Add the lamb. Mix everything together gently.

4.     Season the lamb: add a pinch of salt, turmeric, coriander, 4 green chilies, a little chopped ginger and a pinch of mint.

5.     Let it simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes. Add a chopped tomato and 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt and mix.

6.     Add a pinch of garam masala, shan meat masala, and chili powder.

7.     Pour approximately two glasses of water (you can add more or less depending on how you like it).

8.     Cook it for 15 minutes and… eat it!
