DESCRIPTION -

India Gate Sella Basmati rice is a premium rice known for its long, slender grains. The grains are extra long and slender, with a distinctive pearly white color.
This variety of rice undergoes a special parboiling process, in which the rice is soaked, steamed, and dried before milling. This process helps retain nutrients within the grain and also makes the rice less likely to break during cooking.
It has a fragrant aroma reminiscent of jasmine, with a subtle nutty flavor. This naturally aromatic rice is harvested by expert farmers and aged in temperature-controlled silos for the perfect, non-sticky texture and maximum flavor. It's easy to cook on the stovetop, in the microwave, in the oven, or in an electric rice cooker and can be used in a wide variety of main and side dishes, including curries, rice dishes, and other recipes.

How to cook -
Wash the rice in warm water and let it soak for 120 minutes. Then, add one cup of rice and two cups of water to a pot and cook over high heat until the water begins to boil. Then, reduce the heat to low and let it cook for 13-14 minutes. Finally, remove the pot from the heat and let it sit for another 5 minutes.
